About
Hi! I’m Vanya,
I am an UX Researcher in Cognitive Psychology
Before doing UX, I was a clinical psychology student in Taiwan and worked directly with patients for two years. At the time, I was very firm on my career path of working directly with individuals in a clinical setting, was felt very fulfilled in the health I offered to individuals struggling with mental illness. But over time, I realized that there was a boundary to what could be done in the field. There is no single universal service for everyone. Although I listened to people about what they wanted for a very long time, there was never a solution that was obviously suitable.
UX and cognitive psychology lead me to find the answer.
As a UX researcher with a strong psychology background, I have built strong quantitative, qualitative, statistical, and problem-solving skills. I believe that providing the balance between personalization and popularization is essential, and I want to pursue those aims through the lens of cognitive psychology.
I am enthusiastic about human-centered design between various groups of people, and individual scales with personality.

You can find me at the beach or in a cafe observing people when I am not researching.
